Through the language of the djembe and dundun drums, Chango portrays a living tradition from West Africa, honouring the ethnic music of countries like Guinea, Mali and Senegal. The word ‘Chango’ comes from Nigeria, and means ‘God of Thunder’ in the Yoruba language.
